Community Events You Don’t Want to Miss

There’s no shortage of exciting events happening in our community this year, and we want you to be part of them:

• Julia Gagnon Live at the Opera House: Don’t miss the chance to see the incredibly talented American Idol alum, Julia Gagnon, originally from Cumberland, Maine, live at the Waterville Opera House! Julia’s powerful voice and passion for music promise to make for a truly unforgettable evening. Plus, we’re excited to announce that the amazingly talented Bella Loubier, the daughter of our very own sales associate Mike Loubier, will be opening the show! Come out to support these local stars and enjoy a night of exceptional music.
• Indoor Insanity 5K at Colby College: This high-energy race features multiple heat times and a Kids Fun Run, making it a fun activity for the whole family. It’s a fantastic way to stay active and support a great cause, as the event raises funds for lung cancer prevention. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking to enjoy a fun day out, this event is perfect for all activity levels!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? “In my free time I enjoy golfing, boating, motorcycle riding, snowmobiling, and ice fishing”

What is your favorite CMMAG memory? “Too many to list, but all of them involve the busiest days/weeks/months where records were broken! That and meeting my wife, of course…”

After 20 years with us, what excites you most about stepping into this new leadership role? “Excited to learn more about the fixed ops side of the business and taking on the challenge of the additional responsibility on the sales side as well! I have big shoes to fill, but am still confident I’ll find a way to move us forward to new heights.”

What advice would you give to someone just starting out at the company or looking to build a long-term career? “Have patience and trust that that if you work hard enough and make your intentions to progress within the company known, it will pay off. It’s a fantastic place to make a career!”

What’s the best concert or live event you’ve ever attended? “I’ve been to quite a few great concerts! If I had to pick one show, I’d actually pick a comedy show- the Fully Loaded Comedy Festival of 2023. It was impromptu, close to where we happened to be staying, attended with great friends, and exactly what we needed at that point in time!”
