February is here, and there’s a lot to look forward to at CMMAG and in the community! We’re welcoming familiar faces in new roles, plus there are plenty of exciting events like ice fishing derbies and the Winslow Project Grad Family Dance. Whether you’re visiting us at CMMAG or enjoying local winter activities, February is shaping up to be a month full of fun and connection.

What’s New at CMMAG: Familiar Faces in New Roles

Central Maine Motors is thrilled to announce some exciting changes as several team members step into new roles, all of whom have grown and developed within the company. Bob Van Gorden is taking on a leadership role with the Toyota team, while Jeff Carter is bringing his expertise to the finance department after a successful run in sales. Scott Penney is stepping up to help lead the Toyota location, drawing on his experience and passion. Drew Bassett is stepping up to help lead the finance team, taking on greater responsibilities to guide the department and contribute to its continued success. Bob McQuillan is now leading the Toyota team, bringing his strong leadership and expertise to guide its growth and success. And Mike Roderick is now leading the way at Ford, bringing a fresh perspective and vision to the team. These promotions highlight Central Maine Motors’ commitment to nurturing talent from within and giving their dedicated team members the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Community Events to Check Out This February

February is a great time to get involved in local events and enjoy the winter season. Here are a few community happenings you won’t want to miss:

• Ice Fishing Derbies: Get outside and join in on the fun at local ice fishing derbies. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, these derbies offer a fun way to spend the day on the ice and connect with fellow fishing enthusiasts.
• Pond Hockey Tournaments: For those who enjoy a little friendly competition, pond hockey tournaments are the perfect way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. Grab your skates and join in the fun at this year’s Maine Pond Hockey Classic in Sidney!
• Family Valentine’s Day Dance: Celebrate love and community with the Winslow Project Grad Family Dance. This family-friendly event features music, dancing, and fun, all while supporting a great cause that helps local students.

What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned so far about selling cars? “The most surprising thing about selling cars is how much documentation is required which tests my attention to detail.”

What’s one thing you hope to accomplish in your car sales career? “I’d like to be able to be Salesmen of the month!”

Do you enjoy winter sports like skiing or snowboarding, or do you prefer an indoor hobby? “Not sure if I would be able to consider this as an option but a winter hobby of mine is hot tubbing!”
