June Around Waterville: Community Events & Summer Fun

June Around Waterville: Community Events & Summer Fun
With summer officially starting to settle into Central Maine, June is bringing plenty of opportunities to get out, enjoy the community, and take advantage of everything happening around the Waterville area.
Here are a few events worth adding to your calendar this month:
Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show
Car lovers will want to check out the Cruisin’ For A Cure Car Show happening June 6 at the Waterville Regional Airport. From classics and customs to newer builds, it’s always a fun event for families and anyone who appreciates a clean ride. Admission is free, and any spectator donations collected during the event will help support the Maine Children’s Cancer Program.
AYCC Adult Prom: Masks for our Mission
Looking for something a little different? The Alfond Youth & Community Center is hosting its Adult Prom fundraiser on June 27. It’s shaping up to be a fun night of music, dancing, and community connection, all while supporting an important cause. Funds raised during the event help make local programs and opportunities more accessible for members of our community.
Downtown Events & Entertainment
Waterville Creates continues to keep downtown lively this month with concerts, local theater productions, art exhibits, hands-on creative workshops, First Friday events, and community activities happening throughout June. Whether you’re looking for a night out, something family-friendly, or a chance to get creative, there’s a little something for everyone.
What’s Happening at CMMAG
We also want to take a moment to recognize a few accomplishments from members of our team!
Congratulations to Logan Brown on becoming a GM World Class Technician — a huge achievement that reflects his hard work, dedication, and expertise.
We’d also like to congratulate Chris Mairs and Jusiah Logan on earning their Maine State Inspection Licenses. Great work by all three, and we’re proud to have them as part of the CMMAG team.
As summer gets underway, we’re grateful to be part of such a strong and supportive local community. Whether you’re attending an event downtown, supporting a local fundraiser, or simply enjoying everything Central Maine has to offer this season, we hope June brings plenty of fun along the way. From all of us at CMMAG, thank you for continuing to support local.
