Cheer On Your Favorite Local Sports Teams

The end of summer is always a bittersweet time. It’s always sad to say goodbye to long, lazy days of summer fun. But don’t worry; there are still plenty of great things to look forward to as we head into the fall season.

You will want to be sure to check out some of our local fall sports teams! Football, soccer, and field hockey are just a few of the fall sports that are starting up. Gather your friends and family, dress in your team colors and head to the stadium to cheer on your favorite college and high school teams.

If you are looking for another great family adventure, don’t miss out on heading to your favorite apple farm! There’s nothing quite like picking your own apples on a crisp fall day. Many apple farms also offer other activities, such as hayrides, cider mills, and pumpkin patches. If you plan on heading to The Apple Farm in Fairfield, be sure to check out their sunflower patch as well!

Fall festivals are a great way to celebrate the season with your family and friends. With the new season nearly upon us there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy some great food, music and family friendly activities. If you can’t wait, KVFCU will be hosting a Fall Festival at their Waterville location on September 16^th to celebrate the beginning of the school year and the reopening of their lobby!
